> CLINICAL RESULTS

GENERALITIES
After 28 days of application of Atoderm Intensive gel-crème, the results showed a significant reduction (-15%) ** in transepidermal water loss (TEWL) compared to T0. Thus, demonstrating that Atoderm Intensive Gel Creme has an effect on the restructuring of the skin barrier. ⁽¹⁾

ACTION ON LIPID REPLENISHING AND CUTANEOUS HYDRATION
After 28 days on application twice daily of Atoderm Intensive gel-crème, an evaluation by confocal spectro-microscopy and corneometry showed: ⁽²⁾

• Effect on the thickness of the stratum corneum: significant increase of the stratum corneum thickness of (+21%*) on the treated side in comparison to the untreated side.
• Effect on the state of the stratum sorneum hydration: significant increase of the stratum corneum hydration (+17%) * on the treated side in comparison to the untreated side.
• Effect on the lipids/proteins ratio: significant increase of the lipids/proteins ratio of (+5%) * for the treated side was observed at D28 in comparison to the untreated side.
• Effect on the moisturizing index: significant increase in the moisturizing index of (+11%) *

Atoderm Intensive gel-crème has a significant long-lasting moisturizing effect, increases the stratum corneum thickness and enriches the lipid edifice at the stratum corneum. ⁽²⁾

ACTION ON ATOPIC SKIN
After 28 days, twice daily of Atoderm Intensive gel-crème, the result demonstrated a significant decrease in ⁽³⁾:

• Cutaneous dryness of the body (-21%) ***
• Pruritus (+-50%) ***
• Cutaneous dryness of the face (-34%) ***

After 28 days of use of Atoderm Intensive gel-crème, a statistically significant decrease in the impairment of Quality of Life of (-84%) *** was observed. Atoderm Intensive gel-crème has a positive effect on the quality of life of 12-year-old and older subjects ⁽³⁾

After 21 days of Atoderm Intensive gel-crème application, the anti-itching efficacy was evaluated. A significantly decrease of itching was observed (-70%) *** ⁽⁴⁾

TOLERANCE
Tolerance of Atoderm Intensive Gel Crème was evaluated as very good. Dermatologists and pediatricians reported that no subjects exhibited neither clinical signs, nor sensations of discomfort ascribable to Atoderm Intensive gel-crème. ^(4,5)

> PATIENTS FEEDBACKS
