> CLINICAL RESULTS

More than 90% of the patients stated that the skin is cleansed and hydrated. The product soothes itchy sensation and irritations. (2)
The product is not aggressive to the skin and has no drying effect for the patients. (2)

This patent contains a sugar ester that regulates the skin flora. Thanks to their structure and surface-active properties, sucroesters act in different ways to prevent the adhesion of S. aureus:

• A non-specific interface action, such as disrupting the bacterial membrane especially at the attachment systems
• Specific biological action by interacting with or saturating one or several adhesins on S. aureus and/or the corneocytes of the stratum corneum, thereby preventing their adhesion.
   

A clinical study was realized to evaluate the Skin Barrier TherapyTM anti-adhesion effect of staphylococcus aureus on the skin. The results showed that after applying the bacterial suspension, the average found was 276 bacteria per field. While in the presence of the polysorbate, the number of adherent bacteria decreases significantly by -57%* (1)

Lauryl glucoside is a gentle surfactant. It is a very mild, non-ionic biomimetic surfactant, ideal when used in hygiene products for sensitive skin. It is a combination of fatty acids and glucose (naturally found in the skin) derived from palm and coconut oil and starch. Non-irritating and with excellent cleansing and foaming properties, this surfactant is perfectly suited to dry and irritated sensitive skin.

TOLERANCE
Ocular and cutaneous tolerance were evaluated as very good by the dermatologists. No clinical signs were observed during the application of the product. (2)
